Melanie and Marc Chartrand are a wife and husband directing team who have worked together as visual artists for over a decade. Their respective schooling in science and fine art piqued their interest in the subjectivity of experience that would go on to influence them in their early professional years as photojournalists and as an editor. This blending of worlds and ideas has primed them to explore a broad range of topics as filmmakers and develop a distinctly tactile cinematic aesthetic that seeks to dissolve convention and reveal novel perspectives. They have produced work for many clients including Dow, Nissan, Chrysler, Miller Lite, AT&T, McDonald’s, American Airlines in partnership with agencies TBWA, ChiatDay, BBDO, Anomaly, Havas Worldwide and many others.
